Job Description
Extreme Scaffolding is an established Scaffolding & Access company currently turning over £8.5m per year. We serve a wide area from our base in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, including Stevenage, Letchworth, Bedford, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Greater London.
We have been in business providing high quality scaffolding services since 2004, and as we have grown, we have learnt from, and adapted to, our customers’ requirements and contracts. Our aim is to achieve steady growth through increased customers and repeat business, with a focus on supplying value for money through competitive pricing and a comprehensive service.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Commercial Manager at our head office in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
Job Description
– Ensures smooth running of commercial department
– Managing commercial administrator
– Producing, and submitting accurate, on time applications for payment
– Liaising with clients to ensure applications are fully paid in line with contract
– Dealing with commercial queries efficiently
– Agreeing both dayrate & pricework with operatives
– Managing the wages process for operatives
– Managing the process for logging labour against projects
– Evaluating project performance
– Weekly & Monthly commercial reporting to company
– Holding monthly meetings with operations team to report on project performance
– Evaluating contracts for risk
– Attending pre-start meetings with clients to ensure contract documents are accurate
– Managing document control of drawings / project documents
– Assisting in securing new business & tender applications
– Building relationships with clients to ensure excellent customer service and repeat business
Key Skills
