Allsafe Scaffolding are looking for a driven and experienced Scaffolding Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of projects across multiple sites in the East Midlands. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for ensuring that all builds are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality and service.

Due to continued growth and an expanding pipeline of work, we are looking to strengthen our team with a high-calibre scaffolding contracts manager who shares our commitment to performance and safety.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will take full responsibility for managing labour, performance and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with other teams, contribute to recruitment and training, and play a pivotal role in delivering on commercial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day contract operations across multiple project sites
• Allocate and manage labour, forecasting needs and addressing shortfalls
• View and price jobs in line with commercial targets
• Manage scaffold inspections, handovers, and compliance with TG20:21, SG4:22, and bespoke designs
• Monitor costs, stock levels, and project progress
• Lead recruitment and development of scaffolders and apprentices
• Ensure health & safety protocols are followed, including site inductions, RAMS, TBTs, and regular inspections
• Collaborate with other managers and departments (Transport, Yard, HR, H&S) to ensure seamless project delivery

What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience as a Scaffolding Contracts Manager
• Strong leadership, planning, and conflict resolution skills
• A proactive, hands-on manager with a passion for high standards and team development
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercial awareness with the ability to manage programming, stock, and invoicing

Requirements
• Full UK driving licence
• Advanced Scaffolder & Inspection Card
• SSSTS/SMSTS (or equivalent)
• Competent with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Knowledge of scaffold operations, design, and NASC guidance
• Gold Supervisor card (preferred)
All or any combination of the above is preferred but training will be provided where required.
