Job Description

MG scaffolding require an Advanced Scaffold inspector to work out of our Birmingham Office to carry out scaffold inspections in accordance with legislation, update, maintain and manage scaffold inspection records.

Duties

  • To carry out weekly scaffold inspections.
  • Assess when re-inspection/ interim inspection is appropriate.
  • Advise in failings of inspection.
  • Maintain/ update inspection records.

Required Skill

  • Previous knowledge/ experience of scaffolding.
  • Knowledge of inspection requirements and legislation.
  • Ability to manage work load/ time frame.
  • Good Communication
  • Driving license
  • UK based – Right to work checks

Required Competence

  • CISRS Advanced scaffold Inspection

Desirable Skills/ Competences

  • IT Skills
  • TG4 tie testing
  • H&S awareness (Comparable to SSSTS)
  • IOSH managing Safely

A van and full PPE will be provided as well as other company benefits. Rates negotiable depending on experience.
