Terms and conditions

The rules for using ScaffJobs.

Last updated: 3 November 2026

These terms cover your use of ScaffJobs (jobs.scaffmag.com), whether you’re looking for work or posting a job. By using the site, you’re agreeing to them.

Who we are

ScaffJobs is run by Scaffmag Limited, the company behind ScaffMag. Our address is Office G6, The Enterprise Village, Prince Albert Gardens, Grimsby DN31 3AT.

You can reach us at dan@scaffmag.com or on 01472 476024.

Looking for work

  • Browsing and applying is free. You don’t need an account.
  • When you apply through a listing, the details you enter (your name, email, phone number, CISRS card, message and CV) are emailed to the employer. We keep a record that you applied, but we don’t keep your CV.
  • Be honest about your experience, tickets and availability. Employers will check.
  • Jobs are posted by employers. We check every ScaffJobs listing before it goes live, but we can’t promise a job is still open, that the pay and conditions are exactly as described, or that you’ll be offered work. Any job offer is between you and the employer.
  • Some jobs come from other job sites and are marked as such. They link to the original advert, and we don’t check them in the same way.

Job alerts

If you sign up for job alerts, we’ll use your email address to send you new jobs for the trade you picked. You can stop them at any time with the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.

Posting a job

  • You buy a package on the pricing page and pay by card through Stripe. Prices are shown plus VAT.
  • Each package is a one-off payment for one vacancy. Nothing renews automatically.
  • After paying, you send us the vacancy details. We write up the listing, check it and publish it, normally within 1 working day, and email you the live link.
  • Your listing stays live for the period of the package you bought. If you fill the role early, tell us and we’ll take it down.
  • Listings must be for real vacancies, legal, and relevant to scaffolding and access. Pay and conditions must be accurate.
  • We can edit a listing for clarity and house style. We can refuse or remove a listing that’s misleading, discriminatory, unlawful or not for a real job. If we refuse a listing before it goes live, we’ll refund you.
  • You’re responsible for how you recruit, including right-to-work checks and treating applicants fairly. Applications come straight to you, so you’re also responsible for handling applicants’ personal details in line with data protection law.
  • By sending us your logo and company details, you’re letting us use them on ScaffJobs and when ScaffMag promotes your listing.

Company profiles

We set up a free profile for employers who post with us, using your logo and public information about your business. If anything’s wrong, or you’d like it taken down, email us and we’ll sort it.

Using the site properly

Please don’t:

  • post or send anything false, offensive or unlawful
  • copy listings or other content from the site in bulk, by hand or with software
  • use an applicant’s or employer’s details for anything other than the job in question
  • try to break, overload or get round the security of the site

We can block anyone who does.

Your data

We handle personal information in line with UK data protection law. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why.

Our content

The ScaffJobs name, logo and design, and the listings we write, belong to Scaffmag Limited. Sharing a link to a job is fine (please do). Copying our content onto another site needs our permission first.

Liability

We work hard to keep the site accurate and running, but we provide it as it is. We’re not responsible for:

  • what employers or candidates say or do, or any decision to hire someone or take a job
  • any loss of business, profit or opportunity from using the site or a listing
  • the site being unavailable now and again

If something we do goes wrong with a listing you’ve paid for, the most we’ll pay is what you paid for that listing.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t let us limit.

Changes

We may update these terms now and then. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.
